Okay okay, I have been a very very bad Miya fan recently…

I’m sorry to say that I have been completely consumed by my love for Morning Musume ever since attending Anime Expo, and it doesn’t look like I’m going to be getting out of this mood for a little while, seeing as I’m absolutely in love with Nanchatte Renai and I’ve promised myself I would learn the lyrics to a few more of their songs…

However, I haven’t completely forgotten about Miyabi. Unfortunately, with my concentration shifted for the moment, I definitely didn’t have the time or the focus to do anything as elaborate as I did last year for her birthday. But I do believe that last year, I admitted that her birthday count down nearly killed me. XD I am simply not someone who can blog daily (and I bow down to those, ex. MorningBerryz, that can do so on nearly a daily basis).

I figured that Miya’s birthday post couldn’t be ONLY picspam, so I went and cut some footage from Berryz Koubou’s Alo-Hello! DVD… Can you guess which 2 clips?

First up, a perfect example of someone not being able to keep their eyes off of the wonderfulness that is Natsuyaki Miyabi!! … Err… well, maybe not the “perfect” example, seeing as this guy was kinda creepy (at least to the poor girls who didn’t know what was going on XD). But still, of all girls to keep focused on, I gotta say he definitely knew how to pick! ^_^

And up next, here’s the girls learning to play “Happy Birthday” on the ukelele. Perfectly fitting for today’s theme! ^_^ Granted, this skill ended up being used to sing happy birthday to Risako at the end of the DVD, but that doesn’t matter!! XD

Buono!’s first non-FC concert tour DVD “Hybird Punch” was released this past week, and I just had to share one particular performance from the DVD. Can anyone guess which perfomance that would be?

Today, March 3, 2009, marks the 5 years anniversary of Berryz Koubou releasing their first single, “Anata Nashi de wa Ikite Yukenai”. And as the title of this post says, that means we’ve had 5 years of Miya in the spotlight! Unfortunately, I only started paying attention to the loveliness that is Natsuyaki Miyabi for about a year and a half, but I think I’ve made pretty good use of my time since then.

To celebrate this marker in their careers, Berryz Koubou have released some photo sets, so I’m here to share the miya pic spam!

Buono!’s 6th single co.no.mi.chi released this week, and my copy is currently on its way over to Canada! However, as is usually the case, I couldn’t wait to watch the bonus DVD, so of course I got it once it was available for download.

This time’s bonus DVD featured the making of the jacket – basically the photoshoots for the covers. So, it’s time to pic spam the beauty that is Natsuyaki Miyabi here. Seeing as the photoshoot for the single was done a little while ago, Miya’s hair is still long here. She looks stunning in this photoshoot (though I have to say that she looks absolutely gorgeous in the co.no.mi.chi PV with her short hair).

Hey there everyone! It’s been a while since my last update… Sorry about that! (And sorry Miya! <3) Anyway, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas, for those of you who celebrated it… And a wonderful holiday season for any other celebrations people may be celebrating at the moment. ^_^ And an advanced happy new year to all!!

So, I signed on to #wotachat today, and had this conversation with SecondBlossoming regarding Buono!’s Rock’n Buono! FC Concert…

So, I was browsing around on the Hello!Online picboard today, and I ran into this photo of little Miyabi…

And my first thought was: “Why does this remind me of a recent pic…? o_O”

Upon further though, the lightbulb lit over my head and I went searching deeperin to the H!O Miyabi section until I found this, which was posted back on Sept 14 2008…

AAAHHHHH!!!! If anyone remembers my post from June 14, you will remember my freak out over the fact that Miya sang Masayume live at a FC event.

In addition to beings absolutely ecstatic about that fact, I held out the major hope that the FC event would eventually be released on DVD, and we would get the chance to WATCH Miya perform that amazing song, and the other songs that she sang so wonderfully on the fan audio that was shared.

Well, my wish has come true, and the FC DVDs are now available for download!!! I just finished the 2nd DVD content a few hours ago…. The second DVD being my number one priority because, well, Miya was on that DVD. XD I have already gone through and cut out the songs, and added a lovely little clip in the middle simply because Miya is so gosh darn cute!! <3

wonderfully amusing and fun DVD, there was one segment in particular that caught my attention. From what I could gather, the girls were participating in a number of competitions in order to determine who the leader of Buono! would be.

One of the competitions was… A COOKING COMPETITION!! And what were they cooking? Eggs!! … So, obviously, the first thing that came to mind was “Has Miyabi improved on her cooking of eggs since the last time?”

So, I chopped out Miya’s bit so everyone could see for themselves how it went.
