Miya’s birthday is tomorrow! OMG!!! The countdown’s almost over! As much as I love Miya, you wouldn’t believe how happy I will be once I finish these posts… XD I have been stressing out, wondering if I’d actually get through all 16 days, but I’ve made it! I was never worried about her actual birthday post… That one had a plan from the start.

On the day before Miya’s birthday, I thought I’d embed Miya’s performance of Aya’s ‘Zutto Suki De Ii Desu Ka” from Hello Pro Hour.

Now, this is probably my favourite H!P song EVER. Originally done by my favourite H!P artist EVER. So, it’s hard for anyone to live up to the standard I hold this song to other than Aya herself. And not even Miya is an exception to this.

Overall, she doesn’t do too badly, but I find her precisely enunciated and very staccato “eien” a little awkward sounding. And she has a moment at around 2:06 where her voice cracks. You can see her flinch (well, it’s more like an extended blink, but I want to call it a flinch) right after it, which I find cute… I flinch every time my voice cracks too, particularly when I’m singing at church.

She actually sang this song with Aya there, seeing as Aya was the host of that episode of Hello Pro Hour. I say good on her, for I think that singing the song in front of the original artist would be pretty nerve-wreaking, for that person set the standard… I really wouldn’t want to screw up in that case. XD

I know that I had this clip somewhere on my computer, along with the baton twirling she did and that Aya attempted… But it disappeared, thus the Youtube embed. I’ll switch it up if I eventually find that clip.
