Miyabi’s 16th Birthday Countdown! - 10 days left
10 days!! We’re almost at single digits!
As I mentioned on day 14, we’d be seeing more of Miya from the ‘Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba’ PV in this countdown. Well, here we go with that promise!
‘Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba’ was the current Berryz Koubou release when I started getting into the group. I’m actually quite glad for that, for it is my favourite Berryz single. I think, if Tsukiatteru had been the latest single, I still would have been interested, but I love ballads, and Kokuhaku is just amazing for me.
Miyabi’s voice is so soothing and striking in the song. I could (and have) listen to that song over and over and never get tired of it. I learned the lyrics to that song within a week, and it currently has the highest play count on my iTunes at 386.
Now, when I first watched this PV, I didn’t know who all of the girls were. It’s a beautiful PV filmed on location rather than on set, and the girls all look wonderful. However, what struck me was the storyline in the PV.
We start off with the girls all together, running. They then stop by a water fountain and head their separate ways. Little Risako is left by her lonesome and seems to be tormented over something. Eventually, she sends off a text message and her little animated bird with envelope flys away.
What got me was that at the end of the PV, Miya’s walking down a path, looking all lovely, and the text message seems to be following her… Take that as you will.
Anyway, Miyabi is non-stop win in this PV (as usual), so enjoy the picspam as well as the embedded video at the end.
I realize that this doesn’t show off Miya.. But here’s the bird and envelope…
