YuiKaori-Shooting Smile PV preview

Even though YuiKaori’s new single, Shooting Smile, isn’t being released for another month they’ve just released a PV preview for the song. The preview is a minute and 20 seconds long, and is more like a short version of the PV.

I absolutely love this song and am glad that we finally get to hear more than 30 seconds of it.  The PV reminds me a lot of their PV for Heartbeat ga Tomaranai. Where it’s them dancing in a separate place, with their matching outfits, and then them running around town in their school uniforms. Granted that Heartbeat ga Tomaranai was filmed during the day, and had more of a storyline beyond that. I still think the two PVs are similar regardless. I do really like the oufits they are wearing though. Despite the fact that they are yellow, they’re cute. They actually kind of look like the Doublemint Twins in those dresses. XD
I’m a little dissapointed by the dance. Dancing is usually YuiKaori’s strong point, their dances are always incredible. But this dance is too stiff and robotic. But at the end of the preview it alludes to the PV having a robot theme, so it most likely interconnects that way. But we won’t know 100% until the full PV is out.

Morning Musume-Maji Desu ka Ska short preview

The radio show Young Town played the short version of Morning Musume’s Musume’s upcoming single Maji Desu ka Ska. And when I say short, I mean short. This radio rip is only about 40 seconds longer than the preview we heard the 9th gen singing on Bijou Gaku.

I gotta say I am extremely excited for this single. In the extra 40-50 seconds we get to hear more of the beginning of the song as well as the rest of Morning Musume’s solo lines.
The random talking in the beginning makes be think of SNSD’s Tell Me Your Wish. XD And when the music kicks in it has an extremely similar feel to Guru Guru Jump. I know I said that already, but you can really hear it here. The members are singing pretty much exactly like I knew they would. Except Ai-chan doesn’t have her full on cutesy voice like I was expecting. And Aika’s voice sounds like I’ve never heard it before. I literally thought it was another Reina solo line. I legit though, “WTF is this? Everyone else gets a solo lines, but not Aika?” It wasn’t until the 2nd listen that I realized it was her. XD But I’m so excited by how youthful the 9th gen makes this single!

Teogmass leaves their love on a Blue Bench

The PV for Tegomass’s upcoming new single, Aoi Bench, was just released. Now the PV says short version but it’s only about 30 less length than the original song. So I’m going to do the preview of the short version. I’m going to guess that the long version is either being released on the DVD or if an official long version is released a few days later it will most likely just be an extension of the story line. And I most likely won’t do a separate review of that. Mostly because there might be dialogue and I can’t speak Japanese. But if something super incredible happens I might add to my review in another post.

Now I was very impressed with this song, even though it’s a cover song. I think the song is absolutely beautiful and heartbreaking. I just love bitter sweet songs about lost love. Now I wasn’t really expecting a whole lot from the PV because the original was so simple. But I figured since this was JE we’d be getting something a little more impressive. It is too an extent, but it’s still pretty simple. The PV is basically Tegoshi and Massu walking around taking pictures of their hometown and old high school. Which works for the simplicity of the song, but does help make the PV memorable. The PV is a little too boring for me to usually make a PV about. But I love the song so much, I had too.
A sad and somber view of a city. If this is how the whole PV is, I’ll probably get teary. Also I’m not sure where this is filmed because it doesn’t look like Tokyo to me.
Ok, this is already too bright and happy for a sad song.
I don’t get the reason they keep taking pictures. I guess to have memories of their hometown? Still, I got a wicked flashback of Mirai from Dareka ga Watashi ni Kiss wo Shita. Lol.
If only Massu did anything for me. I could make a thousand caps of how sexy or cute he looks.
Wow, for once Tegoshi actually looks manly in a Tegomass PV or pretty much in general. But I have to admit, I do have soft spot for Tegoshi with dark hair.
See with dark hair Tegoshi manages to look adorable without looking so girly.
Wow, these are some cutting edge close ups. :/
I wish I could read what this says. But I think it’s pretty universal. It probably says some random girl’s name or like Tegoshi and Mariko forever. It might even say his name. XD
He looks so adorable because he looks sad.
This is way too hot an outfit for Tegoshi to wear. I’d rather see it on Ryo-chan or Yuto.
So they’re making a hometown collage or something? It makes me imediately think of Berryz Koubou’s picture that sends friends at the end of their Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda PV.
I’m not feeling Tegoshi’s yellow pants or Massu’s American flag shirt. XD
This picture is supposed to make it obvious what they are doing on the wall. But I’m still not getting it.
Oh man it’s the Aoi Bench!
If waving goodbye on the blue bench was so painful, why is he smiling at a picture of it? It makes no sense!
So, it’s a mosaic of the park and the bench. But that just personifies that this bench was a happy place or memory! Which it wasn’t! XD

C-ute- Bye Bye Bye PV preview

My past few posts have been very JE centered but here’s some H!P news to break the theme. H!P released a short 15 second PV clip of C-ute’s latest single, Bye Bye Bye, available by cell phone download.

I kind of feel cheated out of a preview since we only get to see shadows of the girls. Which is a little frustrating if you ask me.
So far the PV looks pretty cool. It’s a little 80’s looking, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The flashing Bye’s in the background are a little gimmicky, that’s really my only complaint about the short preview.

It’s anyone’s guess when the PV will actually be out, but we can most likely expect it sometime this week. This little clip isn’t really going to hold you over until then, but it will have to.

KAT-TUN- Rescue short version

The short version of KAT-TUN’s new single, Rescue, has been released. And all I can say about the PV so far is it’s amazing! It’s has a very dark theme to it. And the guys are in all black once again. So I definitely approve of that. And for some reason I find Jin in sunglasses really funny. I gotta hand it to Koki though, he’s looking pretty hot again.

I’m really excited for the full version now. But that will probably be out in the next few days.
